Brazil 1998 world cup

After winning the 1994 world cup four years earlier, Brazil were the team to watch in France 1998 and featured Ronaldo in their all star line up. Ronaldo went on to be a sensation, scoring four goals and ripping apart other teams, they started incredible, with easy wins over Scotland and Morocco. They met Chile in the second round, easily demolishing the national side 4 -1, with Ronaldo producing a blinder. They went on to defeat Denmark in a 3-2 thriller, one of the matches of the competition and they overcame the mighty Dutch in the last four via the penaltiy shoot out. After arguably being the side of the world cup, they were poor against France in the final, against the hosts, France. They suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to the French, in a game that the player of the competition, Ronaldo, looked lost.
