Gordon Banks

Banks is arguably the greatets goal keeper of the world cup of all time. Banks was in goal for england during the 1966 finals, and made a string of super saves through out the world cup. He helped the English win the 1966 finals hosting in the own country. Banks returned four years later and probably made the best save of all time in a group match against Brazil, saving a header destined to go in the back of the net, Banks somehow stopped it from going in. Banks missed the quarter finals with injury, which led to England suffering elimination. Banks is without doubt a world cup legend.
