Bobby Moore

Moore captained England to sucess in the 1966 world cup finals. Lifting the trophy in Wembley in what proved to be a fine world cup for the English. Moore returned four years later for the 1970 finals held in Mexico, arguably the finest player in that competition to Pele. Moore helped guide the holding world champions in to the last eight, where the were unlucky to suffer defeat against the Germans. He played his domestic football for West Ham United of England.
