Norway hit afootballing peak in the early 1990's, after narrowly missing out on qualification for Euro 92, they hit form in qualification the 1994 world cup finals, where they defeated Holland and England and qualified for the finals in style. They achived the same feat four years later as they qualified for France 1998 world cup, where they went on to rwach the second round, beating Brazil en route. Since competing in the European Championships of 2000, they have been less of a force in European football.
