The Georgia national football team is the national football team of Georgia and is guided by the Georgian soccer Federation. The Georgian sides first match starred in 1990, while Georgia was still part of the Soviet Union. The side have attempted to qualify for each major sompetition from Euro 96 onwards, but have not yet achieved qualification. They most notably thrashed Wales 5-0 in the year 1998.
Georgia's home matches are hosted at the Boris Paichadze Stadium in Tblisi.
